Illegal Housing Unit Registration

Illegal Housing Units have cooking and sanitary facilities that were created without permits, and violates the City's zoning and density regulations. Registering these illegal units allows owners to register their illegal units with the City through April 30, 2006. Once the registration period has ended, owners of illegal housing units will be subject to criminal and/or civil prosecution. The purpose of htis is to increase the number of affordable and safe housing units in Pacific Grove. Please view the brochure below for more information about the program.
