The Buildings and Grounds Division maintains 28 parks, 130 trash/recycling receptacles, two miles of the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail, and keeps up with maintenance and repairs at City buildings.

The buildings maintained by the Division include:
- El Carmelo Cemetery
- Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History
- Pacific Grove Police Department
- Pacific Grove City Hall
- Pacific Grove Municipal Golf Links
- Recreation Department
